Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.

Introduction

Hi all,

I just found you a few days ago. Where have you been all my lifeSurprised I have known I was a bad procrastinator for years, but only recently have I mentally been in a place where I could really work on the WHY. Searching for answers to that question brought me here. I really thought it was something genetic as it really runs in my family. But then so does alcoholism.
Fortunately I never fell down that hole. I have printed out the Signs and the Tools to Recovery. Many of the things on that list are also related to being organized in other areas of my life. A great site that has been very helpful to me and many thousands of others is www.flylady.net Well I really have things to do and places to go today, will check back in later. Thanks.

Welcome Maryinaz!

I can't deal with the flylady, her site is just too . . . busy!  But I read through the info on there and got some nuggets of wisdom that I'm still using today.  My timer is my friend!

Glad you have joined us!

Healing Me Now

Hi Gang,

Glad to have found you!

Yet another 12 Step Program

to manage my healing process.

I, too, have found flylady.net

helpful...dealing with life in  15 minute

increments! But now the love, support

and Spirit of the 12 Steps to address

THE MOTHER LODE at the core of my

all my other issues---the Big P...!

Thanks again for being here! One of my other

issues is technology and this is my 4th attempt

posting an intro!  HAVE A GREAT WEEK! SEE YA

ON THE BOARDS!

welcome healingmenow

i and many others have found healing here, so i wish you the same blessing.

> MOTHER LODE

i can relate!

many people (me included) hare happy to help w/ any technology issues--feel free to ask. We're a very non-judgmental bunch ...of course, you have to be able to post the question to ask it here--which is sort of unfortunate. but you seem to have mastered that!

As for basic posting:

you click on "add new comment" to reply to a whole thread--who's base post is always at the top of the page.

you click on "reply" to reply to some person's specific comment within the discussion.

You should get a window in which you can type your comments.

when you're done, you can click "preview comment" which will show you at the top of the page what it will look like, then you can edit some more. When you're ready you can click "post comment".

hope that helps.

focus (change of name from healing me now!)

thanks, clement,

for the warm welcome...

just changed name to simpler

one to remind me ! FOCUS!

blessings all!

Welcome focus! I like the new name.

I love this comment:

we have many here who have been helped by flylady.

I have some apparently genetic components in my situation too.
But, you know, now it's up to me. I have found the 12 steps miraculous in the ability to rescue me from my problem.
