I've been working on computer stuff - necessary, but I have an appointment at the gym tomorrow morning, early. I have to go to sleep!

Time to brush my teeth (past time).

Still's first check in (6:35 pst)

Hi,

First time doing a check-in. I was browsing youtube when I remembered reading a thread here of someone wasting time on Youtube. Well I felt guilty doing this knowing that I have homework thats due tomorrow morning. I decided to check the website (haven't checked it in a long time, since i registered.) and saw the check-in forum and after reading what you guys have accomplished for the day, is very encouraging. So, I have decided to go to the library and finish my homework.
Things to do today:
Finish Math homework. (started)
PS: Sorry for writing so much for a check-in lol.

Recycler CI 6:42pm EST

Hi!

It looks like people are getting a lot of stuff done today! :)

Other than being at gym 1, work, and gym 2, here are my completed goals for today:

I was supposed to get my hair cut in January, but I didn't in Jan or Feb or March, until today :)  So I am thankful to have that done.

- deposited a check the 2nd day after it arrived, instead of a week or two later.
- took trash out
- run dishwasher

Now it's time to go to my support group!  Have a good night, everyone! :)

Recycler

Thank you, gals & guys, for being here! :)

Will check back in.

N Bookend

Okay, the web surfing break is over.  I need to get back to work -- arggghhhh!

:)

pro's CI - 10:45am (and good thing I cleaned my apt)

I've got to get going - I'm sort of stuck here.

It's a very good thing I spent Sunday cleaning my apartment. My out-of-town guests did come over. What a disaster it would have been had they seen it as it was!!!!

(X)morning things
 spiritual time
(X)heat workshop
(X)phone calls
(X)put out trash
  do dishes
finish first section of work project A
(X)spend an hour on B and call client
 (X)check in after lunch

Journey 7:30

Good morning!

Working from home again today and hoping that the insurance company will come through with approval for the MRI.  I'm almost hoping the MRI doesn't happen until tomorrow so that I can concentrate on work today.

I'm actually getting better at working from home since I've been using Falcon's timer hack.
Today I'm doing 30+15 x n and let's see how much I can get done.  It's almost fun to race that clock and see how much stuff I can get done in 30 minutes.

I've read my email (but not processed yet) and made my todo list.  Right now I'm going to finish up the task I was working on last night - updating some panels - and then exercise.

later

Journey 10:45

I'm multi-tasking while I'm on a boring conference call lol.

I've processed my email, exercised - although not as hard as I would have done at the gym, and finished up the panels.

After, or even during, this meeting I'm going to rebuild the standalone dump programs and update the documentation.

When that task is done, I'm going to give one of the dogs a bath and take a shower myself.  I'm still working in my pajamas lol.

Journey 1:00

Took a lunch break, and haven't completed my last task or gotten out of my pajamas yet lol!
Change of plans though, I need to spend the next couple of hours building a linux server - I'm chicken, first time I've done it by myself.  I have found myself delaying getting started on it just because I'm afraid, so posting here to get past that.  If I have to, I can ask for help - no matter how much I hate to do that.

e's tuesday check in

Good morning, all! Edge, FABULOUS thread starter! I hope that I can motivate myself that much today!

e's checkback

I have a bit of a headache: probably from being in the stacks too long today! I pulled a lot of the poetry for Friday's event, but things are taking longer than I expected. The laminating is going to be a pain, because I am not very handy, so I need to allow myself to take the time necessary to do things correctly the first time. A new colleague of mine guided me into realizing that hurrying on behalf of others could create problems organizationally, so I am trying to slow down and be more careful. It is a blessing to give myself enough time to do a task correctly! I am not sure why, but I have always felt that it was more important to get things done for other people more than to take care of myself. This applies to everything from moving along at the checkout counter, to hitting the gas immediately after the light turns green! I don't want to inconvenience anyone, but I am seeing how that causes difficulties throughout the rest of my life.

In any case, I have much more to do, my feet are tired from being in dress shoes and I think I am dehydrated. I am not in the mood to work on paperwork tonight, but I will commit to following through on straightening up 3 things before I hit the hay.
*yawn*

Anxiety be gone!

Don't worry about anything, Elizaveth! With Harry Potter (HP) by your side, and the magical infusion of "Today, I can!" in you, you can do anything! Tell us how things go  later on :-) I'm sure you'll be fine ;-) [^_^] \m/
