Friday 21 December 2007

Hi you guys out there!
This is my first check-in, so hi to everybody!

Since I didn´t find anybody to join me in my one-to-one productivity coaching idea and I feel pretty productive lately, I´ll begin to post my check-ins here and see how it works. ;-)

I´m from Europe, so I´ve got a slight advantage of "only" 7 to 9 hours over you guys in the States because of the time zone difference, so I´ll open the check-ins today but in the future I´ll post my check-ins in the afternoon or add them to the ones from the previous day, otherwise I´d do it every day.

So have a nice day and tackle procrastination (like the cat above)

pro's CI - 7:15pm

I'm home from work, and I don't have to go back for 11 days. During these 11 days, I need to get a lot of back accounting done. I have to file taxes this year.

No work tonight, though. I never like working when I get home from work. Too much work!

OK, Cornell app submitted!
Now I'm registering/emailing my recommenders.

kromer 12 (PT) CI

Emailed and registered recommenders, dealt with email, wrapped presents and made cookies :)

I didn't finish my MIT BE app, though...it's almost done, will do it tomorrow morning.

Also, I didn't manage to go running...I think for running to happen it needs to get done before the rest of my family gets up, so I'll try that tomorrow.

Good night all!

Journey 9 am

Good morning!  Skipped the gym this morning since we were out late at a party last night.
I'm feeling quite unmotivated this morning, but after today I'm on vacation for a week so there are some things that must get done:

- status report
- year end highlights report
- create more monitor data and turn over to cp
- Bring home my tax stuff and club budget stuff
- review all WPS emails and follow up where needed
- copy example rexx exec and give tony back the monitor book
- if time, work on rexx exec but not critical
- avoid new manager as much as possible so he won't give me any reports to write!

Journey 1 pm

New manager stuck me with another last minute report.  Now I still have my own work to do :(
But he'll have to find someone else to do his paperwork next week because I won't be here!  :)

if I don't use this time well...

.,.I don't know what I'll do to myself if I let myself down and don't use these 11 days to get seriously caught up on my accounting. It has to happen!! I'm going to rely on this site. I'm going to check in every day, and at least once an hour!!!!

Good morning. It's okay with me, Searcher, if you start the day thread every day!

I need to move off my butt and dress for work - thought I'd post here to emphasize the fact. :P
