Skipped the Walk

Since I didn't start work until 1:50 PM today, I skipped the planned walk at 2 PM and will continue working until 3:30.

What would my day look like if I worked for more than just the last hour and a half of my day.  What would my life look like if I did that?  I can't tell what my life would look like, I can can have a taste of what the day would be like just by giving that a try---tomorrow!  Why is it always tomorrow?  What about today?

9 AM Phone Meeting this morning

I woke up extra early this morning to participate in the phone meeting this morning (6 AM Pacific Time) that has been ballyhooed on this website.  No one was there.  I waited around a while, but no one showed up.  I had to leave for work at 6:30 AM, so I could not wait around too long.  Was that a one time deal that fizzled out, or do people just show up late?  I would like to talk to someone on the phone.  Anyone interested in sharing phone numbers?

Joe

PA Phone Call

Well, the guy who was our moderator disappeared after a couple of weeks.

There were a few people who expressed interest in keeping the phone call going but I think they had the same experience as you did Joe.

If you post in here that you're going to be on the call, you will probably get some participation.   You can change the time, or do another call in addition to the one that's set up.  I"m not sure how we got the conference number to begin with but I think it's a free service.  The phone calls aren't free but the conference service is, so I think we can call into that number at any time?  Someone correct me if I'm wrong please . . .

Change the Website Frontpage

Thanks, Journey.  Who do we ask to change the wording on the home page which still reads:
Phone meeting every Wednesday, 9am ET (US):
Perhaps they could change it to read "Phone meeting available upon request" or something like that.

today

Hello All,

I am finding myself on a consistent streak of doing things I usually struggle with. I cannot tell if this is the afteraffects of having a big argument on Saturday or whether I have turned over a new leaf, but I do know that this fellowship has a great deal to do with it. I read something Pro had mentioned, (thanks Pro) about Getting it Done and it stuck with me: I tend to do things that will take only 2 minutes right away. I am quite happy to be walking to work, planning an entire meal and then cooking it, cleaning up at the same time, getting to bed on time having done the whole getting ready for bed routine, drinking water.

over all an etsi-ketsi day: grumpy sick teenagers vs. wonderful procrastinator mother

more of today

While it has not been an unproductive day, I am not focused in the way I want to be. I find myself floating from one project to another which is less critical; I am not getting the silly job description done, and I think it is because I am afraid I don't live up to my own expectations....

I am afraid I don't live up to my own expectations....

ouch!  I resemble that remark lol.  Perhaps we are twins separated at birth.
