pro's last check-in - 7:20pm

My best chance of getting out of here is to turn off this computer (since I have to pack it), so I'm doing that now. Have a good evening, everybody.

pro's CI - 6:40pm

I just got home from work. It was supposed to rain this morning and didn't. Instead, it rained as soon as I started home, and poured until just before I arrived at my door. So I'm all wet (well, not all wet - I had an umbrella).

I'm driving out of state tonight. I hope it doesn't keep raining. I need to pack and get out of here before it gets too late.

Journey's CI 2:30

9:30 meeting went on forever, didn't get outta there until 11:00, then I was hungry so I went ahead and ate my lunch, then got totally off track for an hour.  Didn't get started back to work until 1:00.  I usually eat lunch at my desk under the pretense of getting more work done, but that's when I get sucked into surfing the net, over-reading the news, obsessively checking email, reading blogs, etc., etc.  I didn't really recognize this pattern until  I started posting my activities on this web site.  Maybe I need to start going down to the break room or take a walk outside or something instead of getting on the net, since I have so much trouble getting out of that surfing mode once I get into it.

The item I planned on doing right after lunch was a dog too, a big bunch of red tape, hassle, filling out of forms and stuff that I hate.

Time Sheet

Always a Challenge

Sounds like a challenging list.  Make sure you don't neglect young Zoey through all of this.  Also, don't be late for that lunch appointment.  It is with a very important person!

inspiration for the day

If you spend too much time thinking about your past mistakes, how can you focus on moving forward? Today, you need to put the boxing gloves away -- because it's time for you to stop beating yourself up! No one remembers the things you did or didn't do, so why on earth should you? It's one thing to learn lessons from errors you've made, but it is quite another to continually punish yourself. This is a fresh day, full of possibility and promise. Don't waste it feeling regret.

pro's CI - 8:10am

Looks like I'm all alone here this morning. Here's what I've done so far:

- Ate breakfast and washed breakfast dishes.
- Laid out pills for the day.
- Took dose 1 of 3.
- Paid two credit card bills (one was late :( )
- In looking for something in my pile, realized my car insurance had expired because I didn't pay the bill - bringing that to work with me. :( :(

Now I need to get dressed and leave. I want to leave by 8:30am.

I'm just sitting down to breakfast. I had to freeze some chicken I bought yesterday - took a little time.

pro's first check-in - 7:10am

I got up at 6:50am. The alarm was set to 7am, so this is good! I'm already showered (did it last night), dishes are washed (did it last night), and clean dishes are put away. I really might get to work on time today (and I really need to - I have a meeting with senior people at 10am).
